Local Resources

 Thanks to the generosity of donors and sponsors, the Iowa Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is able to fund many breast-health and breast cancer-related programs in the 81-county service area we support. Komen Iowa is pleased to partner with these organizations to bring breast health education, screening and treatment options to people who need them most. Six organizations in the Komen Iowa service area were awarded grants for breast health initiatives in the 2011-2012 fiscal year (April 1, 2011 - March 31, 2012) totaling more than $700,000.
