Small Grants Program

The Iowa Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® —along with those who generously support us with their talent, time and resources—is working to better the lives of those facing breast cancer in our community. The Iowa Affiliate serves 81 of the 99 counties in Iowa, with 75% of the proceeds staying local and supporting programs in this area. The purpose of the Small Grants program is to create opportunities to reach new communities, fund innovative projects, and build partnerships. Small grants allow Komen Iowa to make a meaningful investment in programs that might be considered high impact/high risk programs. Plus, initial Small Grants to a new organization or new program are small investments in important new relationships that may have future program potential. The Komen Iowa Affiliate is currently offering grants of up to $10,000 to support breast health education projects, conference, and travel scholarships. Grant funds are limited and applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.
