Participate in an Event

Whether you are a runner, a bowler, a chef or a shopper, you can contribute to the fight against breast cancer all year-round. By participating in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® or another Komen event, you become part of a grassroots network that has changed the way the world talks about and treats breast cancer. You can make a difference as you celebrate survivorship, honor those who have lost their battle, and most importantly, raise funds and awareness for the fight against this life-threatening disease.  There are many different ways to support Komen's mission.   For a full list of fundraising events, go to the calendar of events.

Community Fundraising Partners

Community Fundraising Partners help the cause by donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of a product or service OR through a flat donation.  These partnerships are generally one month to a year long, and therefore do not appear on the calendar of events.  Below you will find our current Community Partners:

Isabel Bloom in West Des Moines, Iowa, will donate $5.00 from the sale of each “Group Hug” sculpture sold in the Des Moines retail store from April 1, 2013 through March 31, 2014 to the Iowa Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The selling price of the sculpture is $41.50 and $44 respectively.

2013 Survivor Luncheon
